Free Download Page

These downloads are all Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) files. Most of the star charts are 50kb to 150kb in size, the course notes are around 1Mb. You will need the free Acrobat reader to view them. If you don't have it, download the latest version X from adobe (30Mb) or older version 5 (8Mb), which does the job just as well. Although the charts support various astronomy courses and are grouped accordingly, feel free to download for any reason - but have the courtesy to contact me if you wish to use these materials for public/educational courses or donate a few shekels towards the upkeep of the site.

IMPORTANT NOTE - the starcharts remain current for any year during this epoch but the notes are variable and the positions of planets, Sun and Moon will change from year to year. The information about stars, clusters, nebulae and galaxies will apply in any year.

UPDATE - As of Apr 2012 I have moved these file downloads to a Google Docs location since I have incurred a fee every time they are downloaded on my ISP (Easily.co.uk) and can no longer afford to subsidise the general star gazing community! The links below should still open up the pdf files but if you have any trouble please email me.
